Removal of Calcite from an 8″ Clay Pipe Calcium

Removal of calcium mineralization from inside a 8″ Clay Pipe.

Pacific Sewer was asked to remove calcite from inside of a clay pipe after every other method had failed or was determined to be too destructive.

The majority of mineral build up in sewer pipes and manholes comes directly through the joints which tends to create a large mass that can completely shut off the pipe. The removal of calcite is most difficult at the pipe joints where the minerals hold fast inside the open gap. Through the use of targeted high pressure water removal we are able to remove the mineralization and return the pipe to full flow.
