After multiple failed methods deemed to be too destructive, a client called us to remove calcite inside an 8-inch clay pipe.

The majority of mineral buildup in sewer pipes and manholes comes directly through the joints, which tends to create a large mass that can completely block the pipe. Removing calcite is most difficult at the pipe joints, where minerals hold fast inside the open gap. But by using our targeted, high-pressure water removal, we’re able to clear the mineralization and return the pipe to full flow.
