Struvite Removal from 18″ Vertical Pipe

Removal of struvite build up from insides an 18″ vertical pipe

Pacific Sewer returned to our previous client to continue with the process of clearing build up of struvite from within the pipes leading to and from a treatment plant digester. These pipes develop mineralized struvite over time which requires that it be removed completely for proper inspection and maintenance of the underground pipe.

The client is in the process of doing maintenance and repairs to the entire treatment plant. It is vital that the process of inspection and maintenance is complete and thorough which requires clean and visible pipe walls.
